Verium’s investment in 2020 led to the creation of the Sequotech Group, a specialized Swiss IT services group with the objective of strengthening its market position in Switzerland and neighboring countries, both organically and through targeted acquisitions. Together with Verium, the Group grew significantly as part of a consistent buy-and-build strategy and continuously expanded its market position.
The Sequotech Group is an established 360-degree IT outsourcing partner for SMEs and provides specialized IT services in the areas of cloud/managed services, cyber security, data & analytics, as well as specialized software solutions for enterprise customers and public institutions. Positioned in this structurally growing market, Sequotech’s business model is characterized by a high share of managed services and strong customer retention through local presence, with significant additional synergy and scaling potential.
In June 2026, following strong development, the Sequotech Group was transferred into a continuation vehicle in which Sagard Private Equity Solutions participates as an institutional investor. Verium therefore reinvested in the company to build on the successful collaboration with the experienced management team and to continue the organic and inorganic growth strategy. At the time of the transaction, the Group comprised nine companies with more than 350 employees and revenues of over CHF 85 million.
