Auw, 28. August 2024 – The Mobil in Time Group (“MiT”) has completed the acquisition of ZB Zelt- und Bauheizungen AG (\u201cZB\u201d) via an asset deal, thereby expanding the Group’s position in the building technology sector and strengthening its heating coverage in Zug and Lucerne.\u00a0<\/em>Verium first invested in MiT in 2019 and has supported the Group\u2018s development into a leading player in the areas of mobile energy solutions and water damage restoration through organic growth and a selective buy-and-build strategy. In 2022, the company was transferred to a continuation fund to further accelerate its attractive growth potential. ZB is MiT\u2019s third acquisition in 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n

Accelerating growth within hot-air segment<\/strong><\/p>\n

The acquisition of ZB complements MiT Group\u2019s service offering, as ZB is specialized in larger events with up to 20 hot-air units. 16 of ZB\u2019s c. 100 well-maintained hot-air units have been remodeled to methanol use, which will strengthen MiT\u2019s continued ESG efforts. Alongside pellet-based systems, methanol will be key in the Group\u2019s strategy to increasingly substitute oil with sustainable and renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n

The technical manager of Zuger Messe, Kurt Wyss, co-founded ZB Zelt- und Bauheizungen AG with a group of local entrepreneurs in 2016 to supply Zuger Messe. Under the group\u2019s leadership, ZB specialized in tent and construction heating across Switzerland, acquiring clients like the White Turf horse race in St. Moritz. The Company\u2019s equipment pool includes close to 100 hot-air units, out of which 16 have already been remodeled to methanol use in line with the Company\u2019s ESG strategy.<\/p>\n
