Strong partnership in rental cooling: Mobil in Time Group and ACR chiller rent join forces

Munich, February 20, 2025 - Mobil in Time Group ("MiT") acquires acr chiller rent GmbH ("ACR"), a specialist in rental cooling and air-conditioning for industrial applications based in Munich. Through the acquisition, MiT expands the existing cooling business and strengthens the strategically attractive position in Southern Germany.

Verium first invested in MiT in 2019 and has supported the Group‘s development into a leading player in the areas of mobile energy solutions and water damage restoration through organic growth and a selective buy-and-build strategy. In 2022, the company was transferred to a continuation fund to further accelerate its attractive growth potential.

Strategic strengthening in rental cooling

Through the merger, the MiT Group not only expands the existing equipment pool in rental cooling by more than 500 units but also gains a well-established team of specialists with extensive experience based in Munich. Under the leadership of the two long-standing managing directors, Benjamin and Christoph Trost, ACR will be able to offer even more comprehensive solutions in rental cooling and beyond to both, existing and new customers as part of the MiT Group.

Attractive addition to group strategy
